As we continue to make our way through the pandemic, lockdowns, and another virus surge, we are all looking for ways to stay hopeful. We’re staying at home and possibly forgoing a meal with extended family this Thanksgiving. But that doesn’t mean we need to feel alone or apart from our community.
Thinking about thankfulness this November, we might be feeling like we need to reach a little deep this year. We have all experienced losses, both big and small. It’s important to honor those losses and allow ourselves to feel the impact of them.
However, we also are looking towards the future for ourselves and our kids. One way that we can keep hope is to find a way to be grateful. In every day, there is something to be grateful for, even if it is as small as a hot cup of tea.
This Thanksgiving, we at IBDMoms want to celebrate you and your family. We are inviting the global community of IBDMoms to tell us why you’re grateful. Let’s show the world that our lives are full of love and gratitude.
Submit a photo (or more than one photo) or a short video showing us why you’re thankful. It could be a photo of your family enjoying time together. It could be a short video showing how you’re managing school at home. Or it could be your kids showing off their favorite masks. Tell your IBDMotherhood Story to the world!
Submit your video or image via this form and don’t forget pass the link along to other IBDMoms! Deadline is Sunday, November 22nd at 11:59 pm est.
